Since the car accident which nearly killed me, I am not able to remember much prior to my grisly accident. What I do know is that my name is Darla but my last name....I can't remember it off the tip of my tongue. The sound of the ocean waves crashing onto the rocks and shore soothes me, that I can recall. I live within a house but it's not mine. It is my savior's house, the man who rescued me and nursed me back to health after my ordeal. I should feel grateful but something with him isn't right.
